grumble, just spoke to the agency about the job that was posted on here and that I applied for this morning, it is already at interview stage as it was a very quick turnaround, she stated the ad had been requested to have removed off gumtree, but I know in my own experience that it does not always happen *huge sigh* as that would have been perfect

Sometimes people do not appoint and then they re-advertise.
can you ask the agency to let the company know that if they cannot appoint there are already more applications for interested parties due to advert not being takem off gumtree.

She is super nice and stated that she will be keeping me in mind for other things. She said if I ever get to the point of being able to live up there to let her know as she may be able to help with temp work from time to time. Right now however I cant do either the move or temp work up there.

Sometimes I wonder if it is meant to be and other times like last night while sat in gretna services on the way back home I just cried as I was leaving. I know I am meant to be up there, making it happen is the hard bit! Whatever will be will be I suppose..

Munchki. just keep believing it. it will happen. maybe we can get you enough quillow orders for a deposit on a flat. some of those flats i saw were between200 - 400 a month even saw a little cottage for about 280 a month I think.
I know its more complicated than that but keep concentrating on what it will feel like to live there and you will get there.

I agree with munchki on this one. I sold a few items on ebay before christmas and offered next day special delivery at a set price. When it came to posting, the lady at the post office refused to send them as the boxes were just a fraction too big. I decided that as it was not the faulyt of the buyer, I would take the extra cost on board and arrange a courier delivery.
my customers recieved better service and i made just a little less money than I hoped but hey ho, hopefully they will buy again from me in the future.

Not the reason I popped back on though. My main reason was, I've been looking around a site that lists local businessess in my area and one of them is fantastic selling hand made childrens toys, on there they mentioned how they got started and they used a site for work at home mums, I've had a quick look and it all seems to be arts and crafty type goods where people can list their items so thought some of you might be interested.
if you google work at home mumz (with a z!) it comes up with this

Showing results for work at home mums. Search instead for work at home mumz

Choose the latter and it's the top site.

I didn't want to post a link up incase you all shouted at me,lol. but if you like it it might be worth adding to the links on the first page.

Okay - not too bad this morning. Trying to be as organised as possible I am going to start my to do list in a few minutes.

Feeling a bit more positive now although some things are a bit poo just have to keep on going and hope that it will all work out for the best - and to be honest I believe it will :)
On the up side I have found a wedding show that is being held at the Russell Hotel in London so that is a positive.

The annoying - got turned down for a consolidation loan. Honestly I cannot wait to say Hallelujah and Amen, once I pay this loan off I will never, never, ever take out another form of credit again. I know they say never say never - but I am happy to say it!
On the other side of the coin it is spurring me on to get as much freelance work as possible. I can't wait to pay this all off! Better get my graphics hat on... onwards as they say.
