  • :( a bit more luck.

What do you think!!!! I am not sure that my posts i.e. Poker are in the right spirit of this thread. I read about people struggling and feel guilty of my success. I don't post to gloat but to suggest an option for peeps.

Seriouly, i am happy not to post if it isn;t in context, let me know.

    Regards

Hi Steve dont know about anyone else but i have no problem with you posting (apart from the fact you are doing so well and I'm jealous lmao!!)

I know we dribble on a bit about personal issues but when it comes down yo it this is a thread for making money in whichever way and its great to hear how different people are doing it...wish I could play poker!
  • I don't mind you posting, there are a few people who have made more then a grand now, so it's certainly not you rubbing your success in!

I wouldn't suggest it as an option though, as an online and offline player, I know how hard it can be to make cash from it. I'm not using it for this challenge for that reason, it's so easy to lose what you have won, just with some bad luck. Or tilt, lol.

Feel free to post away :)

Edit - Just out of interest where do you play?

    Toots thats frustating!!
I went o this page and clicked on the white line where it says i've got it .i've got it. which seems to take to a different search to the search now. it takes you to page saying it will move in march press continue. I just clicked all then on next page did a postcode of DD1 4HN and radius 10 miles then continued through with no preference to get most results. it gives first 5 pages but will give 10 pages altogether. somewhere i the middlle it goes off all over the country but there are still more dundeee jobs further on.

  • Personally, I'm enjoying seeing how well you're doing, Steve, and have no problem with it. We're just all doing it our own way, and supporting each other!

Steve, post away! Quite happy for you to be posting on here. Closest I've come to playing poker is winning a five card stud tournament on Microsoft's Casino game thing! (Apart from a boozy Christmas night a couple of years back when I lost all my matchsticks playing Texas Hold 'em LOL).

Have been playing doing very simple bamboo tile pendants just because I don't need to think about them, and listening to footie on the radio. I really need to do more paper craft stuff, and have a couple of decent ideas for things to do - just lack the inclination.

I have a Peppa template, and have found light pink felt, but can't find the other colours, so I've put them somewhere very safe.

DH and DD have gone to the cinema, so I have a couple of hours of the house to myself - bliss.

Saucy, hugs to you. When I start crafting I get so absorbed I forget everything, so maybe get some papers out and start to play.

Steve I always enjoy hearing how you are doing but worry that you feel a bit left out as no=one is really doing the same as you.
But Its interesting to me cos its so different to what I would do.
So if you are happy to keep posting I'm happy to keep reading.
And those of us that are still finding our feet are usually really pleased for those making bigger strides.
