    No problem is stupid saucy - sounds like a night mare to me. do you have any ear plugs. although it sounds more like you need industrial ear defenders!!

    I don't, I was considering this last night...I'm prone to ear infections, though, and I'm got healing ear drums...I don't know if its safe to wear them?

    I just want a cuddle. I miss having a family.

    Cyber hugs, Saucy. I know they're not much use, but here they are anyway.

    Have you got something warm to put against your ears? A hot water bottle wrapped in a towel or something? I've had a recurring ear infection for over 20 years, and ear plugs are something I've been told to avoid in the past...

    Nixi, I've forgotten, are you writing or illustrating the children's book? Would you like me to PM you some ideas if I come up with any? I think I'd like to write one too but don't have the artistic skills and would love to discuss stuff with you!
    The MBTs are a size 3, if you were only a 4 they might have been OK as they need to be tight-fitting for support but never mind lol, I'll get rid of them somehow!
    I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.

    saucy u might feel a bit funny wearing these at home but review says comfortable enough to sleep in and seems to have similar living problems to you
