Alliance & leicester made me a offer

I made a phonecall to Alliance and leicester on monday the 8th feb and the same day sent them a SAR. And yesterday i received a offer off them as they were unable to establish whether i was provided with sufficient details to allow me to make a informed decision. they offered me:

£223.34: rebate adjustment
£77.12: total monthly premiums paid to may 13th 2006
£90.91: intrest up to 28th feb 2010
£391.37: Total

They have put : This offer is made in full and final settlement.

Should i accept this offer or should i wait and see what the document say that i requested in the SAR when they arrive?

    Hi Helen

    Well done and Congratulations .

It is entirely up to you here now, depending if your happy or not with the amount being offered.

If they have not given you a timescale on when to sign and accept, there is no harm in seeing what comes back within the SAR docs and take it from there, either way, the very best of luck to you.;)

  • I just think they were very quick to offer, I dont know if the insurance was a single premium one ( if it was would that have been paid on top of the loan and paid back when i settled) Im trying to remember that far back but im sure my loan was for £5000 i only had the loan for a couple of months and the amount i paid back was over £7000.

It is a good offer but dont want to jump in and accept to early. Im a little bit confused. Helen :j

Still, its a lot of money you have paid back Helen, and it's rightfully yours, I agree with you, best to have a good think on it first, good one.:)
