Abbey's H and Cont policy details being changed

Hello
My mortgage company also have my home and contents insurance.

They are in the process of altering everyone's policy details.

A big change that altered my quote by £62.93 was my queries regarding the new wording of Personal possessions and charging me £99 for £3,500 worth of things.

I reduced the £3,500, which is for things that get stolen from you whilst in the street - leave your bag on a chair and you are not covered, leave your bag in view in a car you are not covered - have it ripped from your hand you are!

I reduced it to £1000 and it saved me £63 .

I did all the searched for cheaper quotes - but the Abbey give me unlimited Buildings and contents insurance - for all the others I have to specify the amount I want.
So there quote isn't so bad afterall.
