Equipment for rail staff?

Anyone know a source of the tool that rail staff have which let's them open the side-gates at stations etc. It's a 'T' shape with a square key at the end. Tried Ebay but it's tricky when you don't know the proper name.

    Why do you want one?

They are pulled from eBay when they appear because they should not be listed there, they are railway property, and not for members of the public, which I assume you are as you don't know their name.

Maybe if you tell us what you want it for people could suggest alternatives - there are lots of near enough matches. Just to add, not only the railways use them, and they are not just for opening gates etc - they are still used for some functions on many trains today.

Those aren't carriage keys. They might be what they OP meant though as he just mentions the square bit at the end, not the other ends/bits?
