We are going there 1st prob for coffee my Granny will be fine its just shes not been in Edinburgh centre for 20+years so doesn't want to walk far, shes able enough.
She'll enjoy a look round Lewis' then across the road for lunch then sound of music

Be careful if you decide on Slug & Lettuce, get there very early. We have tried most places in the Omni since we go to Playhouse a lot and this was our worst experience.
We arrived at 5.45 and were seated and ordered by 6. By 7 we had to tell staff we couldn't wait much longer (show started 7.30). Meals (no starters) eventually arrived at 7.10 which were awful and we left half of it - (we didn't really have time to eat it all anyway). Steaks were tough and grisly and chips were black in places.
Complained via their site the next day but got no response.
This is no reflection on the waiting staff as they were very good, but we won't be back there.
We had to race to the theatre so as not to miss the start of the show (We Will Rock You), which was great!
ps Just noticed you were there on Saturday - hope you had a better experience than us!0 -
We booked for 12:45 and were advised straight away that there may be a dealy (think being the last show and Saturday etc) it did take a while nearly an hour but we had enough time but only one course, food was good and everyone elses looked good too, surprised you've not had a reply. Agree that staff were great0
