Hi all, I'm having trouble setting up my energy monitor. I'm nearly all set up but I need to input my tarrif. Found that information I'm on Tier 1 20.656 and Tier 2 10.964 and now it wants me to input what time Tier 2 starts. I've no idea, the British Gas website offer no information.

Is there any body on the same tarrif who could tell me?

Did you get yours working okay. I have had two now, both wont work. Tried one of them on MIL house to without success and gave it to BIL and he couldn't get it to work either.

I now got another one now but havnet tried it. I did press the sync button and attach the sensor and display in mains

OP you are confusing Tier 1 and Tier 2 prices with Economy 7.
Assuming you don't have Economy 7, you should look at a recent bill and divide the total cost by the total units used. Use the resulting figure for your unit cost.

Tier 1 prices are higher to cover the old standing charge which folks didn't like.

BTW These meters are highly inaccurate so it does not matter too much if you are a bit out.
That gum you like is coming back in style.

Took me a while I have to admit, I plugged it all in, managed to attach it to the meter and realised I hadn't paired it! So took it all off to pair it and away I went.

Thanks for your help! I knew I wasn't economy 7, but all the information above seemed to suggest I had a 2 tier tarrif. Just looked at my last bill and I'm pay 0.15p per metric unit.
