No joy from local Branch!

Well as expected, the letter I typed and put through my local Llloyds asking for my loan account number from 1993 was never replied to (gave them a month).
I have now printed off a SAR request and sent it recorded with a £10 postal order. The only information I could supply to them was our previous mortgage account number, as we have no accounts with them any more.

We took out a £7000 loan over 5 years and were told over the phone from the local branch (was TSB then) we could get the loan as long as we took the PPI which if I remember equated to £30 per month! Mis-selling if ever there was! Talk about young and stupid!

Anyway will update if we get the information back from the SAR and will then apply for the PPI claim, although I am dubious about it being 17 years ago!

    Hi Margaret

Do not worry, most of us have been there.

I was to say you can still write to reclaim if you had the account number but can now see you are waiting for your details to come through.

They have 40 days to comply and send all they hold on you.
Hopefully some useful info will come back within your SAR, good luck and give us a yell if you require any help.
