Finally got round to ringing them

Minimum Finance Charge removed straight away

Interest of 0.33 removed as i had paid in full (like i thought originally)

Just goes to show the benefit of checking your statement

Wonder how many people don't bother and end up paying these charges

Also removed payment option plan

Was the first time i have rung them and got to admit the girl i spoke to was very helpful so can't fault on service so far

but wont hold my breath just in case

Excellent, glad to hear the good news.

Vanquis are good when it comes to things like this given the issue has been around since they started! I'm sure all their staff are well versed in it.

I can only wonder how much they are making from people that don't scrutinize their statements!

I imagine they make a mint .... There have been a couple of months that I just could not be bothered to call them up for the sake of a £1.

I should have though.

I do like them for giving me a break when no one else would though, looking forward to the online access (should it ever come)

Be easier and quicker for people to notice the £1 charge
