...and gone on to have a successful relationship with the person they were gonna divorce?Just saw someone on tv recently who'd done this, and can't see how it would work but has anyone here done the same?:D

My friend did. Stopped the divorce between the decree nisi and decree absolut. IIRC with about 10 days to go till it was final. This was around 8 years ago and they are still together (though have had another split and get back inbetween!). Whether the relationship is successful :think: A matter of opinion I think.;)0

An ex-boyfriend of mine parents got divorced and remarried three times to each other, a case of couldn't live with or without each other.0

I guess it's a severe case of a trial separation. I think in some cases people need to be married to each other but living separately - next door or just down the road - maybe.0

I left my ex 5 yrs ago.He's just around the corner.Can't live with him but can't live without either.We are in lots of ways still a couple, though are classed as single.hard to explain..........especially this time of night after a few glasses of wine lollost my way but now I'm back ! roll on 2013
