Virgin Media vent

As I said, just a vent. Got a letter from Virgin Media 'credit management' asking why I'd not paid the final bill and threatening 'further action' should I not do so instantaneously.
Firstly, they'd NOT SENT A !!!!ING FINAL BILL. Secondly, the direct debit that I have had with them for the last 3 years is still active, why the hell not use that ?
Stupid company.
On another matter, had to get them to send 3 replacement viewing cards when they did the change last year for everyone, as the first 2 didn't arrive. Do they actually have a working postal service or do they just not bother sending some things to save money ?
Stupid useless company.
Feel better now for saying that

Hiya, i just read on one of your previous posts that u cant withdraw national lottery funds as you card has expired. Maybe thats the reason they havent taken the direct debit?0 -

Can't remember posting that, must have been a long time ago if it was me
But no, the DD is active, I cancelled Virgin, giving month's notice properly and they stopped the service as they should on Feb 6th, just didn't take the final amount via DD which I assumed they would do, and haven't sent me a final bill so I can check it's correct. Bloody rubbish, they are0 -
So, on the 12th Feb, I receive a vaguely threatening letter asking why I hadn't paid the final bill.
Today, 15th Feb, I receive the final bill.
Morons
The bill I quibble with, but that's another matter altogether...0 -
There must be some credit check for the companies as well, Whenever they get 1 bad mark or proven bad mistake
1. Company should compentiate 1000 times of worth of money they requested from you or 10,000 pounds minimum.
2. Rules should be same for customer and company
They dont have any proper system, but blame you to pay the money.0 -

So, I paid the 'final bill' on the 12 Feb over the phone. Received a 'final bill' in the post 3 days later that was for 10p less than I paid. A week ago, I receive a cheque for the same amount I paid on the phone, as they had actually taken the (slightly different) final amount via DD as they should have done.
Virgin Media, your billing system is RUBBISH. Utter !!!!!.0
