Yes you are quite right I am afraid the 1960s took its toll on many small towns and Kings Lynn was not immune and mistakes were made !! such for so called regeneration but there is still some nice parts which escaped0 -
You may find a nice area with a good school but then you try getting your child into that school.
I live in a fantastic village outside Lynn. I could walk to the primary school in five minutes but had to drive 12 miles (20 minutes) in order to get my child to school. Because they are full!
I have one daughter in catchment for the High School, (she gets the bus) however they do not have space for my older daughter (in catchment) who was and still is attending another school because when we moved into the area there was no room and 2 years later there is stil no room.
Good luck, we live in a lovely village and both my girls go to fantastic schools, unfortunately they are 30 miles apart!Sadly, you don't have any badges yet but keep trying! See what you could get........... oh boo hoo I am crying into my wine.
