Npower sol14

Hi,
In March we will be 12 months into the sol14 tariff with ~Npower.
We were thinking of changing supplier. I would be grateful if someone could give me some advice regarding:
a) any cheaper tariff with better customer service out there?
b) does the sol14 tariff have an exit penalty and how do i go about transferring do i need to give npower notice that i want out before April comes?
