DLA and additional discounts

Apologies if this is a question that has been asked in the past! I've recently been awarded DLA (mobility) and as a result I've got a national concession bus pass and am looking at the Motabilty scheme or getting a disabled persons train pass which will make a huge difference to me. Are there any other useful or little-known discounts or 'perks' which can be claimed when claiming DLA?

Some of the discounts will depend on where you live. If you're on higher mobility, then you're entitled to a blue badge.

Our local leisure centre, South Ayrshire, offers a £1.00 pass which last for 6months and allows the user to swim for free. It's not advertised and I only found out because the receptionist mentioned it to me. I would imagine there's a fair chance that other local authority leisure centres offer discounts for those in receipt of either mobility allowance or DLA
