PPI reclaim HSBC

Hi there,
My husband is part of HM Forces and took out a Personal Loan with HSBC in 2005. He was sold PPI despite the fact that as military his monthly income is guaranteed so there is no chance of him defaulting on the repayments. The loan has now been repaid in full this month, can we claim back PPI ?

Hi and welcome
It seems there is a good case here to reclaim, and yes go for it, it makes no diffence at all if still active or paid off, apart from the fact that your hubby should receive all the PPI owed to him, interest and also request for the 8% interest of what a court would award also for being deprived of his money.
Here below is a useful link with info with guidelines of reclaiming, templates and so on, they have 8 weeks in full to respond.

Good luck, please ask for help anytime and please keep us posted, cheers.:)
