Just had a call from an Asian man who said he was from Toucan and could save me money on my phone bill. When I told him my set up, he agreed that he couldn't beat it. Then came the sucker punch:
"Could I just have your postcode and house number so that I can take you off our database to prevent you from getting any more sales calls..."
YEAH RIGHT YOU LOW DOWN VILLAINS.
People beware, this nasty practice would appear to have not gone away.

...and then the window licker said to me...

Tell them 8 and CO15 1ET next time.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0
