First my case went to dawson hart solicitors through loanchecker after about 18 months they said they couldnt go any further with claim , then i was adviced to carry on and peter (who is usually on this site ) passed my details to heenans solicitors. They sent me a letter recently to say they was ceasing trading.0

I rang Blackhorse up today because the letters they said i should have got saturday still haven't arrived , it turns out they have sent it to the wrong address . They have sent it to my old address (I havent lived there for 5 years ). I asked how did they manage that as they got my address right for 2 letters . They said they have to write to address thats on the aggrement ( load of rubbish ) . Anyway they told me they have offered on some accounts pro rata payment back and on others full refund pluss 8% .
Can anyone explain the pro rata to me please ??? am i being ripped off should i ask for full refund plus 8% on all ???0 -
What they are saying is that you are going to get a proportion of some of these back. So if for instance you were paying 100.00 over 10 months that is 10.00 per month. If they then pay back 5 months which would be 50.00 that would be pro rata.:mad:0
