Prepayment Meters

Options
Hi Everyone.

I am currently with Southern Electric for my gas and electric but sometimes struggle to get out to get them topped up due to illness.

I have been doing a bit of internet searching and came across one from Scottish power that you can top up from your PC??

Firstly, does anyone have any experience of using this at all and does anyone know of any other suppliers that provide this service?

I looks interesting to me but would like to know more if possible

I am with british gas and have online top up for elec at the moment,it works fine. They are waiting on the gas version coming in,which should be in the next few weeks. Great not to have to go out if that's all you need...:j

I have just looked at British Gas and they do offer this service but you have to sign up for the dual package and I am unable to change my gas supplier at the moment due to an outstanding debt that needs to be cleared before they will let me

You do not have to sign up for dual fuel with BG to get the home top up. Currently they are the only company doing it for both meters but you can choose for 1 only too and then bring the gas across when your debt is paid. If your debt is less than £200 you are now able to get the new supplier to accept this debt ( terms apply).
