santander overdraft

my wife has just received a letter saying her overdraft will be withdrawn on the 1st of april can they just take it like that it will leave us in deep s"*t any help would be great thanks ray :(:(

    Yes, the bank can call in an overdraft at any time as overdrafts are repayable on demand.

    Banks should however give you notice. Usually 4 weeks.

  • This has happened to me too, i'm in deep if they take that overdraft away! think ill have to go into the bank and ask whats going on.
