Trouble with McAfee

I wonder if anyone could give me some advice please..

We have Mcaffee anti virus running on our home computer, when turning the computer on in the morning it said the our Mcafee anti virus was turned off and we were not protected, i have to go into the mcafee security centre and press fix, now sometimes it does it straight away other times it has to go through this 3/4 times.. It started happening every other day on start up but now it keeps happening more regulary and during the day aswell..
Today i was updating our website while the computer was running a full scan with the malware software when all of a sudden it looked like the computer had suddenly turned it self off, within seconds the phone rang and the computer then came back to life, but had stopped the scan and my changes to our website..
Not sure if the two are connected or not, but would love to know why my computer is forever saying the anti virus is turned off..

My best advice is to ditch mcafee. You will get other replies saying the same.
So what if you paid for it, there are better free ones.
Try avira or avast, download them, uninstall mcafee -http://service.mcafee.com/FAQDocument.aspx?id=TS100507 -this involves d/loading the removal tool, then install avira (or avast)
You will notice an improvement as mcafee is a noted resource hog.

It could be something nasty is switching it off

Download MALWAREBYTES (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')
http://www.filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_anti_malware/
Open malwarebytes and goto UPDATE and click 'check for updates'. After its updated goto SCANNER and click PERFORM FULL SCAN then click SCAN
Post the COMPLETE log here AFTER youve deleted everything it finds


reboot

Download HIJACK THIS (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')

Click MAIN MENU then DO A SYSTEM SCAN AND SAVE A LOGFILE(Takes seconds) then post the log so we can see whats running
(do NOT do anything else with Hijack but scan and post the FULL log)

thanks, was running a scan when it cut out on me, running another one, but from experience i know this will take a couple of hours or so..

If it cuts off again, run in SAFE MODE WITH NETWORKING (Keep pressing F8 at bootup)

this is the malware log, only thing that it showed was something we had on the computer that was supposed to spped it up, have in the past deleted all that i can find but there is something called the performance centre that i cant find to delete it.

Shut down your anti virus
Follow the simple instructions it gives
Post the COMPLETE log it creates here (Split into sections if need be)

If it comes up with a RENAMING error then RIGHT click the exe file and RENAME and call it QWERTY (Making the complete file name 'QWERTY.exe') Or SAVE as 'QWERTY' on download

strange, when i clicked on your link above Mcafee flagged it up as un-safe.. Said it was spyware/etc ....Said they had stopped a trogan
