I just happened to post a question about contribution-based JSA over in the Benefits sub-forum here on MSE. The question I asked there was if the condition for c.b. JSA is to have 2 years of uninterrupted NI contributions or whether you "just" have to have made NI contributions of a certain amount within the last 2 years to qualify. I´ve been working in the UK for 22 months only but my total NIC should be in the 6k range. Now I wonder, if this means that I am entitled to c.b. JSA.
