Never Had a Credit Card! Need Some Advice

Options
Hi all,

I’ve never had a Credit Card, but now need one. After buying a house and stuff, one would now come in useful!

I’ve checked all the sites and read most of the information regarding comparisons.

I have narrowed it down to 2, the Sainsbury’s and Halifax Credit Card (i think). This is due to the 0% interest on purchases for a number of months.

I would like your thoughts and experiences with these companies. As i would ideally like to have a credit card with a reputable and customer friendly company.

Cheers in advance for help and advice...

As far as I'm aware Sainsburys Bank is partly owned by HBOS (Halifax/Bank of Scotland)

so it would be the same card issuer either way.
