Ideas needed....

I'm after ideas of how to ask my flowers girls to be my flower girls.
Unfortunately I can't just pop round and speak to them as they live a good 2 & 1/2 hours away from me, but it would mean alot to me to have them for many reasons but I was a bridesmaid at their mum and dad's wedding.
I don't want to just call them either
So what can I do?? They are 7, 9 & 11years old.
Thanks

I'd love to pay them a visit, but I just haven't got the time at the moment

Why not speak to their mum & ask her first, then she could ask them if they would like to?0

What about meeting half way? There mst be somewhere in between you could meet? Explain to their mum why you want to meet up and then you can sit them down together and ask?0

Some kind of sweetie flower thing you could post with a note.... or something eastery you could attach a note to? Or a little vid made on your mobile you could facebook / text them with?
Are they any kids TV progs / characters linked to weddings / flowers? (In the night garden... is that for babies? I dont know anything about such things) If not could you get A dvd and send it with a request?
Maybe a pair of flowery socks each and a note?0 -
Send then a bunch of flowers? Depends on your budget, I suppose, but if you can afford it/want to splash out you could send them a posy each saying, "will You be my flower girl, call 0............ with your reply" I'm sure you could think of something witty or relevant to put in the cards. Aldi flowers are really nice, and start from £10 delivered. Or call a local florist to them and ask for some small hand tied posies to be delivered to them?
ETA I think this would be a great idea, after all, how often do little girls get flowers sent to them, they'd always remember the flowers they got from you were their first bunch, and came with such a sweet request. Maybe even one bunch betwen them, to go in their bedroom or playroom? It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0 -
