moving house- how do I know who supplier is?

Hi all, wondered if anyone can answer a daft question. I am due to complete on a house purchase next friday and have been thinking about comparing gas/electric costs. I know I need to read meters when I get the keys but how do I know who the existing supplier is?

Hi if the vendor doesn't let you know then you can find out supplier when you have the meter numbers by following advice here, easily googled http://www.ukenergy.co.uk/pages/area.html
