hiya, i was just wondering if someone could help.
i have had this hairdryer for just under 2 years. do not have the receipt, nor the packaging (whoever does when things go wrong lol)
i only use a hair dryer when i need to dry my hair quickly-normally leave it overnight to dry. so i have used it about no more than 25 times since purchasing it.
last night i was drying my hair for about 1 minute. as i turned up the dial to increase the drying power i heard a big bang in my ear (thats where the hairdryer was pointing as i was drying the sides of my hair.
i threw the hair dryer on my bed and ripped out the plug from the socket. there was a slight burning smell too and pieces of plastic in my hair!!!!!!!!!
i picked up the dryer and examined it. when you moved it, the inside sounded like a rattle. and plastic bits came out of the nozzle.
just dont know where or even to bother sending it back!!!
thanks for taking the time to read. xxx
p.s. i have contacted vidal sassoon on their contact us page, yet to hear anything. xxx

Doesn't that make your pillows cold and soggy?"Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -
nah. normally i wash my hair and give it a good few hours to air dry, so it's damp when i go to bed. pillows still nice and dry in the morning x0

2 years. Hairdryer. Probably cheap?
Doubt there's much you can do.
By the way, you could have just said "My hair dryer is nearly 2 years old and tonight it stopped working. What can I do?". Would have saved you some time.0
