M & S Gift vouchers expired December 2009 - any chance to reclaim?

My OH found some uncashed in M & S gift vouchers "behind the clock" at the weekend. They included £36 worth which expired in December 2009. Is there any chance of cashing these in, maybe by writing in to M&S? Anyone done this or got any advice?

I'd certainly email M&S and try. I have had them a few days out of date and accepted instore before, but December is probably pushing that and would need to go to customer services. I'd email as it's cheaper than calling, unless you can find a 0800 number.
good luck
• MOVING THREADS FOR BETTER RESPONSES

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email !!!!!!.
• Not M&S but I once found some Next vouchers that were past their expiry date. I emailed Next and they sent me some new ones.
• Worth a go, they might be feeling generous!

Is it gift vouchers or credit vouchers? I dont think gift vouchers have an expiry date. If its credit vouchers, is it the paper ones or a till receipt type?
