A quick plaudit for the Co-op

Amid all the grumbles about banks and the way they treat customers, I have to give a thumbs up to the Co-op.

I've been with them for 20 years and and cannot honestly say they have ever given me anything but very good service. They have an ethical policy, terrific customer service and user-friendly online banking.

My only real grouse is that they closed the nearest branch to me in the early 90's but then all the banks were doing the same then. They probably regret it now.

Well done, Co-op. Full marks.

I am with Smile and I too have nothing but praise for them.

The branches are very few and far between but I believe once the merger with Britannia has completed then we should be able to go to the former Britannia branches and do our banking there too :@)
