I was made redundant on the 12th May and had an operation scheduled for the 15th May which has left me off sick for 8 weeks with a doctors note.
I am feeding two adults and two children aged 3 and 1. I already shop at Netto etc and the food budget I had specified above includes all toiletries, nappies, newspapers, alcohol, cigarettes, haircuts etc.So the actual amount spent on food solely is about £220 (£55 per week).
The Kleeneze payment is for an account I have with them that I can't pay in full.
I tried it to make extra cash but it didn't really work round here. I was putting in 15 hours a week for about £2.00 profit!!
The childcare fee is for just two half day sessions for the children per month. I need to continue paying this out or they will lose their place at the nursery which is needed for when I go back to work next week.
Hope that answers some questions.
Can anyone answer the question regarding interest rates and who to ask for confirmation of them?Made it - 15 years married!! Finally!! xx:beer:0 -
2 things from me - 1. have you tried actually phoning any of the companies concerned? It may be that the original lender can help you on some, or dca on others.
2. cigarettes and alcohol....... need I say any more:eek:
welcome by the way:hello: !!!!A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

From the National Debtline site:
It is very important to try and get creditors to freeze interest, otherwise your debt will keep increasing. Keep trying to persuade your creditor to do this - Letter C may help you. If some creditors freeze interest, let creditors who are refusing to freeze interest know about this.
Remember: if you are sued in the County Court interest on the debt is normally frozen and it can be a good idea to remind creditors of this.
If creditors are refusing to freeze interest you could threaten to withhold payments until they do, particularly if your payments don't even cover the interest.0 -
Hi all. I'm going to ring round all the original companies first I think on Monday to get the up to date info on who is looking after the debt and then contact them with a payment plan. Would I work it out pro-rata ie. the one with the highest debt gets most or the one with the highest interest rate?
Thanks for your help guys and I really enjoy reading things you do every day and I've started implementing them myself!!Made it - 15 years married!! Finally!! xx:beer:0
