lloyds Got me again

Done well recently and not had any charges for over a year. Last month I fiddled my SO's in order that I could pay everything.

Got my calculations wrong as it would appear I had a charge last month and missed it.

Result 1 rejected DD 2 unpaid SO's.

Charges £329 ........back in the Krap. My own fault but still very harsh.
They would appear to charge more now they have made their charges 'Fairer'.

Co Op have let me have one of their Basic Accounts so I'm going to use that. Hopefully this will allow me to try and get back on track. I realise I'm opening myself up to the usual criticism but if I stay with Lloyds a slip up knocks me back months and that is unfair.

Final point if I lodge an appeal under hardship against Lloyds is the account then deemed as being in dispute? Thus giving me some breathing space regarding the repayment to Lloyds of my outstanding overdraft.

    how have charges amounted to £329? I thought 1 rejected DD & 2 unpaid SO's was £60 (£20 each)?

    LOL if only.

    OD Interest at about £40

    Unauthorised OD £160

then £120 for the DD and SO's

    Correct.

Saying that I still think it's an ODD number anyway. Following the Supreme Court decision and the amendments to the banks T&C's would anybody think that the situation is now fairer?

Interest aside they've taken £280 for paying nothing, doing very little and in the case of the Unauthorised overdraft fee fined me £160.
I fully expect the anti claiming brigade to try and tell me that the £160 is not a fine and in effect is for a service provided by the bank. Just think I may stuggle to see what this service is doing for me.

Completely agree its a load of crap chipbeck. Are you taking it up with the bank at all ? I think you should write to them pointing out just how bloody unfair it is.

Also, for me, do you fancy responding to a poll for fairness in future of charging systems we're working on with the OFT ? Be very helpful to have your opinion. http://www.legalbeagles.info/forums/showthread.php?t=21647

Not a problem Esmerellda I will do when I have the time. I must admit that it is my own fault. When Lloyds moved to these fairer terms and conditions a couple of years ago I forked out £1200 in one month for charges so I new they could rack them up.
I could probably do with digging that statement out as I think even Premier may see £1200 for one months banking as a little excessive.

So its a bit more than just 1 rejected dd and 2 unpaid s/o's then

Two posts on my thread thanks.

So your thoughts were correct there was the interest and the unauthorised overdraft.

    I hope I didn't mislead anyone.

Was hoping for peoples thoughts on fairness but if anyone finds themselves at a loose end feel free to enter any comments/nonsense you feel like.
