Barclays car insurance

Car insurance is due for renewal in a few days. It's full comprehensive for a ford fiesta 2003, ford insure quote £233.64. I did a search and got barclays for £178.87 which is very competitve, hubby drives only about 10,000 miles a year. He is very reluctant to go to Barclays as he says better to stay with the devil you know. I have noticed they both use Norwich Union. Any advice, anybody. Thanks

    Never been with Barclays, so can't comment on service...but....

    If you are going to go with them, do the click through on Quidco cashback and you'll get an extra £45 cash back for a transaction completed online!

    just done similar on a corsa ... zurich at £143 less £65 via quidco.

    Think there's now £110 available on lloyds .. but don't know what there costs are like currently

    certainly worth checking !!

    why would you stay with ford insure when for £50 less you will probably have the same cover from barclays.
