The time it takes searches to come back vary from area to area.
All our searches came back within 4 weeks but the water/drainage search took 6 weeks!!!!! (Surrey).
Once all the searches are back and the mortgage and surveys/valuations are sorted, the contract can be produced and you'll be ready to exchange hopefully.
Just ask your solicitor.0
