I stayed at the coral seas resort in sharm sold by first choice.
I hated it as it was all brits and a bit like bultlins but with sunshine.
Great for the kids but unless you want to play Bingo and Mr and Mrs shows whilst sitting on garden furniture in an out door area without even a proper bar then i would give it a miss.
They have a sister hotel in sharm called The Holiday village with a similar sort of set up but more activities for the kids ie climbing walls ect.
If i was desperate enought to go back i would go to the village as at least you can book a quite swim up room there.0 -

Sultan gardens is a massive hotel with loads of russian and other eastern european guests so wont be ideal if you want to avoid them0

We went to The Holiday village in sharm - run by first choice, liked it so much we are goin back this yr for 2 weeks.
it is a bit brits abroad but is way less stressful than dealin wiv other nationalities and frankly their rudeness!! we met lots of nice people there and its very relaxing. they fly over comedy acts from the UK which are entertaining!
We have a 9 yr old and he LOVED it. The activites are brilliant and cater for all their interests (performing arts, crafts, sport etc).
The food is also very good and varied, (i only saw one couple eat chips!!) they have a pizza and pasta station where you choose your own toppings etc.
We also loved the room configurations - son is having a "den" bedroom with dvd player and videogames included.
The resort is spotless and has its own piece of beach, the coral is fantastic there and the fish are brilliant to see!0 -
I have booked fellow MSE peeps to this hotel and loved they had 2 kids, never complained about and foreign guests.
If your travelling to a foreign country you cant expect just your own nationality to be in that propertyI am a Travel Agent

I have to say trip advisor and such sites are useful to a point.
I must have reviewed every hotel in Sharm on there this last 2 weeks. The reports conflict so much though, they are a farce at times.
Someone gives a hotel 5 out of 5 for the best holiday ever, yet someone else gives the same hotel, same board basis, same weeks holiday, 1 out of 5 as it was the holiday from Hell... how does that work ?
Comments about the pool being cold etc, it won't be cold when I am there......:rotfl:
There were a couple of really nice hotels, but by the time I tried booking them, they had gone. I then came across a really good deal for this:

I'm looking forward to going and having 2 weeks of nice, refreshing sunshine.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

We have booked the Ghazala Gardens for June, the reveiws on Trip Advisor are excellent. It is over the road from beach but its sister hotel, Ghazala Beach is on the beach. Ghazala Beach does not do all inclusive and does not seem as good as Gardens. Red Sea Holidays or Golden Ticket do package deals on this hotel. Hope this helps.0
