Or possible - not a lot that the moderators wouldn't delate as foul language??:) My commiserations - I know how frustrating this is. Deep breaths, stay calm, visualise yourself floating in a warm sea....0 -
Think of it as another tack in their coffin. (Not quite big enough to be a nail). Tribunals really do not like repeated postponements.Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0

I wonder if the tribunal judge would be as leniant if the role was reversed and it was the claimant who kept postponing ? In my opinion tribuanls favour the employer.
Greendoller , frustrating as it is , you just have to keep in mind that this is costing them big time !0 -

I would differ. Tribunals "favour" the law - the law has, since the 1980's broadly favoured the employer. Tribunal judges are balanced between nominations from employers organisations, trades unions and the legal professions. Many of these people are equally frustrated with the laws, or some of them, as they stand. Unfortunately, if they were to refuse to postpone under the circumstances that witnesses on either side were unavailable, then they would be doing nobody any favours as the case would be immediately referred to EAT.0 -
Hi ,
I can't say that I'm surprised after everything thats gone on before . If my ex-employer wishes to spend its money employing the services of an expensive solicitor from Scotland for a few more months then so be it .
They complain in their last request for an Order for Costs that " previous time and costs invested in this matter have been completely lost and after 19 months of litigation we are still no closer to the conclusion of this matter"
All their own doing , all postponements have been at their request but they complain about how long this is taking .
I'm really looking forward to what the judge has got to say about their lies and conduct ........however long it takes .0 -
I'm now waiting for their next Order for Costs / Deposit Order request stating that their costs are soaring due to the length of time its taking to come to Tribunal .0

Theres no way that a costs order will be granted to them now ! Its because of them that the case is dragging on for gods sake lol.
The statement that their costs are soaring would actually give me satisfaction.................0
