    I remember this too but cant find a damn thing about it... we sure it wasnt the Spain guy who got £8k in the end, and was suing for daft amounts originally ?

    I was going to ask you whether it went further than the judgement you sent me....it's not normal practice getting damages awarded for loss you might have incurred. That guy in Scotland is probably glad now that he didn't buy that house in Spain!

    Hey - i've trawled for info on the John Peters v o2 case. I can't find anything in the system - even under o2's parent company's name. Short of phoning up Wakefield County Court and checking with them - and i don't see the point because it would be in the system. I'm wondering whether this case actually went to court or whether it was blag with the media to bluff a settlement.

    The article certainly states that the o2 representative had not seen a claim form and was looking into it - first he had heard about it and all that - i think that ones a no goer....
