Hi, My sister goes to Spain next week and needs to know which is best to take over there - travellers cheques, euros or her credit card? Her card is a barclaycard?

Travellers cheques are a waste of time anywhere other than the US in my opinion.
As a frequent business traveller I do the following three things on every trip:
Take foreign currency but only as much as you can afford to lose - i.e. don't take £1000 in Euros if that is your whole holiday allocation spending money because if you lose it in one incident (accidental loss, mugging) then you are up the creek without a paddle. As a rule I almost never carry more than £100 in cash.
Take a credit card but be aware of the commission charged.
Also take your bank cash/ATM card to draw currency from local cashpoints.

Second this advice. Nationwide don't charge commission on either their credit cards or their cash cards - AFAIK all the others do, and some of them can be pretty high. Some have a charge per transaction as well, so worth checking with yours.0
