mis sold ppi

just wondering if any one can tell me if i was mis sold ppi on a loan with the abbey
i took the loan out in january last year over 4 years .on a statement that was sent to me after a year it says
ppi ins
880.33

credit balance
4202.13


loan amount
5082.46

when i add the amounts together i get the above loan amount have they mis sold me ppi insurance
when i took out the loan i was told the ppi was seperate to the loan and i would pay a monthy premium
they said the premium and loan payments would be added together so i only had 1 payment
also they never asked if i had any medical conditions wich i have
i asked if the loan amount would be included in the loan they said no theis loan was took out over the phone so they should have a recording of this
any help would be apreciated

Hi and welcome.

Figure wise, I'm sure they will be checked by someone for you, but there are many reasons for being mis sold.
It is worth checking for more info on Martin's link of reclaiming insurance, this includes a checklist of mis selling reasons, and template letters and so on, they have 8 weeks in full to respond.
You actually write to the ones who sold you the loan.
