Online reports now take longer, they send out a password via mail for security, the last time I did one they did anyhow.

This is tight, so your ratings would have to be spot on. It may only be a scoring issue. get the report and feedback.

instant access for online reports, if you answer all security questions correctly

A couople of lenders might to the income multiple you require but you wont know until you apply.

I think it's probably pointless looking into your husbands credit rating as mortgage default is usually too serious for most lenders unless the arrears were cleared at least 12 months ago.

Or the better option - free

£2 really, although that's as good as free! I did mine back last June and it did take a couple of weeks for Equifax and Call Credit though, Experian was about a week.

If they have definitely said it is his rating then get the reports from all those three, just in case it's only on one of them. My guess is that a company has mistakenly put something on there, or perhaps there is something that went unpaid in the past that you don't know about.

    .

NO !!!! FREE and immediate (thats enough caps locking for today)...

I have already posted 2 links and if you click on them you can get your credit reports for free right here right now (fatboy slim). I cannot see what is so difficult?

OR there is the option to send them both a cheque for a couple of quid and get them in a couple of weeks.

    Doof doof doof

The above is what I've just been told - same as my husband was told yesterday - so it wasn't immediate unfortunately.

It might be good to have a thread or two about them on the mortgage forum.
