the OP is in a flat, if its a conversion of a bigger/older building i wonder if another tenant has tapped into thier supply....
it can happen
as for useage
we have used 6800 units in 4 months but we have 4 x 2.5kw NSRs which can use 10 units per hour between midnight and 7am (or thr relevent E7 periods) = 70 units per night x 7 days a week = 490/week = 2100 a month (if on the full 7 hours) at 5p/unit = £106 PCM.....0 -
im guessing the flat is FULLY electric yes?
in which case you really should have a "two rate" meter. first thing i would do is check your meter against your bill. firstly the meter reading and also the "serial number". this can be found UNDER A BARCODE.
If these match then fine, not a problem, check for a blue button on the meter, this would give you your different readings. if there is only one reading and your all electric i would query this.
as for 15000kwh in 20 months not being high it is generally 7,500 a year so it is slightly high.
also take readings AT THE SAME TIME EVERY DAY for 14 days then work out difference each day.
as for npower...:mad::eek:0
