do Tesco CC accept Faster Payments?

Does anyone know if I use my new flex account to make FP to my tesco CC, will Tesco accept it the same day?

I wouldnt risk it, may get there the same day but will is post to the account for a few days?

The vast majority of Nationwide current accounts don't do faster payments at the moment, pretty much the only provider that doesn't.

Tesco do accept faster payments, however as others have said, both the sending and receiving bank have to be part of the scheme for the payment to be made same day.

Don't risk it. Almost all mention of FP on the usual BOS pages have been removed too.

Might be something to do with the changes in the banks.

And Nationwide are usually the slowest in the world for oustside transfers.

Can you not phone them and do a payment over the phone?

thanks for your replies, i normally do it by bank transfer with nationwide but 4-5 days b4, i have a new account at nationwide which is one of the ones that does FP and thought might be able to pay through that account on the same day, my husband has just changed over to monthly pay so thought it might help with the balancing of the budget if it CC money stayed longer in the account;)

New account at NW does faster payments?

I think Tesco does accept faster payments- I made a payment from a Halifax savinsg account and it affected my available balence almost immediately, and appeared on the card at the same time as debit transactions made the same day.

But note the get out clause of "think"
