I'm not 100% on the answer for 4 Down..The clue reads "Appealing to the masses" (8 letters) have been looking but am a bit unsure wether it could be POPULIST or POPULISM ..

Hi Korky My opinion is that the answer is populism. I think populist relates to one person, and the question is appealing to the masses, therefore populism.

Sorry to come to this late....
The clue seems to be looking for an adjective, so I would pick POPULIST.

If the answer is a noun, there is no real difference - one is a person, the other a philosophy and the clue doesn't say which is required
