rbs mastercard used to give airmiles on aa through airline's advantage scheme. now this has been canned, does anybody know best uk card to get miles on aa.
i clear my account monthly, so no/low annual fee is more important than interest rate.

Citi used to be the main card provider in the UK to do this. That card ended on December 31. In the letter I got they did say that a new provider will launch another card in the UK. Not heard anything yet.0 -
I don't know if it works with the credit card but AA and BA are in the same airline alliance. I know if you have an AA loyalty card you can earn points on BA flights - so you could look into seeing if getting a BA credit card instead would work?0

I too had a AA card and have enougth points for a free one way trip to the USA, only need 20'000 miles for a one way trip and i have 27K anwyay i was reading on the AA site that they hope to announce the new deal and new provider in Feb, so fingers crossed, just hope its not not MBNA lol as I already have three cards from them.

You'll find it's not "free". Taxes etc have to be paid.
