Extension to side of house-Agreement forms enforceable?

We've just had our planning permission approved and have been getting quotes from three local builders (who've just extended similar houses in our area)
All three have given written quotes and one builder who has agreed to do all the work we require plus some extra and has agreed to give a written fixed price.
He has provided us with an agreement form which he has produced himself on microsoft word with several spelling errors etc.
He has included costs and what will be included in the work plus dates which he will adhere to, I am happy with this although I'm worried that in case of problems will this document be enforceable?? as it does'nt appear very professional he has asked that we all sign together below the form agreeing to the information.

Don't see why it shouldn't be if you all sign. Have all your signatures witnessed just in case.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0
