Hello!
I have an Acer Travelmate 220 from about 4 years ago and the battery life seems to be quite poor. Is there any way of increasing it again so that it is near to its former self? Or do I have to get a replacement battery? Cheers!

Replacement battery I am afraid.
Lots of 3rd party suppliers around so worth a google rather than buy an original from Acer.

You could try cycling the battery. Full charge followed by deep discharge a couple of times. Maybe worth a try before buying a new battery. Battery is probably dead though.0

I read a trick a few years back about putting the battery in the freezer .. I have no idea if it works, but you could try googling to see if you can find anything (I am not convinced there is anything in it otherwwise everybody would be trying it)
IvanI don't care about your first world problems; I have enough of my own!0
