People are saying for the 8% RS you must deposit £1k
I was told in branch that the opening deposit for this account was £10k. I assume this was wrong! I was given info for a 5.2% bond I think (cant find it now)0 -
its a limited offer of a 5.5% gross 3 year bond and the minimum deposit is £10K, otherwise they have a 1-3 yr choices bond and a 4 yr retirement and chiildrens bond available, minimum deposit £1 max is £2million.
if your tax payers they also have investments where your capital is safe and they offer a better return on your money compared to the bonds, generally say the money shoudl be invested for 5yrs+ to see a better return on your money but can access your money is needed.
Also, have a 7% monthly saver min £20 max £250 each month rate is avaliable for a yr, but if you take out investment with abbey you can take advantage of their 8% monthly saver, the rate is also avaliable for one yr only.0 -

Still there - Look in the red bar on the left hand side of the page!
Not all that obvious unless you were looking for it really!
Cheers

I'm sure that was not there yesterday, as it is pretty easy to find it as noted by ctdctd.0

I called the freephone number today (took about 10 mins to get through) and was told this bond would be available for 'about a month'. That should be plenty long enough for anyone seriously interested
HTH
Correction: My leaflet has arrived this morning and it states on the reverse:
So that's a clear deadline for anyone interested in following up."Available until 8 August or earlier if sold out.".....under construction.... COVID is a [discontinued] scam0 -
Hi All,
I also called today (gave up after 10 mins on hold, but hey, its freefone!
I did also email and they confirmed the minimum balance for this new bond was £1.
If you put £1000 in it would allow you to take the 8% regular saver!
Cheers
