how do i work out single premium payment protection

Im a little unsure how to work out what im owed i only have my insurance schedule:
commencement date: 03/10/05
term: 5 years
Premium: £1972.38
+
insurance premium tax
= £ 2071.00
This was sold with our mortgage and we were told we had to have it.
any help appreciated thank you helen xx:wave:

it looks as though you were paying £34.52 a month ppi - you so far paid 51 months so that's £1760.52 paid to date, but you should also be entitled to 8% statutory interest which is calculated against each premium paid - go onto the bank charges forum and find the bank charges calculator - feed in £34.52 a month starting 03/11/05 and that will work out the statutory interest for youmartinsmum wrote: »Im a little unsure how to work out what im owed i only have my insurance schedule:
