Thanks mate, I plan to ring Halifax & Littlewoods up tomorrow and see if they can get the payments down (Littlewoods if any of the two) I've not missed a payment with either from what I can remember so I can remain hopeful.

You've got a contract? Is there not a probation period with that?
If so, does that say anything about how much notice either party has to give?
