Morning all

Snow day here today :T There's about 8inches out there so the town has ground to a halt.

What's everyone else up to?

Yay to the snow day Pooky, I bet the girls are delighted.

No snow hear at all but bitterly cold.

Hope we dont have any travel problems on Saturday:eek:

    good morning!!

Loads to do today, no snow here sun and blue skies again!! so my last load of washing is in the machine so i can try it out on the line (yesterdays dried even though we had snow showers)

Can't say how cold it is haven't been out yet :)

Need to go to Aldi and get some veg and were having Gammon and veg for tea :) (already got rice pudding in slow cooker)

need to to bank today and pay house phone (still need to pay 2 months, but getting there)

plus need to do post office and get my money, then when i get back have to sort bedrooms (had heating on all last night too hot to work up there at the moment :))

Also can anyone help me with a problem? Nathan had a matress yesterday from next door cause his had gone yuck from his bedwetting :( anyway the mattress is a lot deeper than his last one and his fitted sheets don't fit proporly or his waterproof cover, (he woke up this morning and everything was in a ball!!)

    morning all -

claire, i guess you will just have to use a double sheet meantime on Nathan's bed?

I am worrying now about my long drive on saturday if there is snow daaarn sarf.
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

  • Claire - would a double sheet fit? It was minus 1.5 degrees when I drove to work this morning. Not sure what it will be like in Carephilly though. (Insert confused smile!)

Today is going to be the longest day ever at work I feel.

It's only snowy down in this little corner - far, far south east, so you should be ok Maz.
