How about Samsung NC-10?0 -
the NC10 doesnt have anywhere near HD resolution (only 1024x600), the only one that matches your needs (but I think is slightly more than your price at around £250 with 3 cell, bigger battery can be bought as an extra) is the Acer AO751 with 1366x768 resolution.

This one with a 6 cell battery http://www.ebuyer.com/product/172831
This one but only a 3 cell battery http://www.ebuyer.com/product/1610050 -
Consider getting a proper laptop with a decent-sized screen that has a good vertical resolution and visible characters, a keyboard where you can type without too many errors, a free memory slot so you don't have to get rid of the 1 GB supplied, and a DVD drive so you don't have to buy an external one at another £50-odd.Any ideas welcome
You did ask for any ideas!0 -

Vote here for the NC10. Though if you are specifically after a laptop which can stream 720p video, you're very unlikely to find one for less than £230 as they'll all be running the Atom processor.Marketing and web design guy. FIRE enthusiast.0
