BMW Haynes Manual question?

Hi all, I've been searching for a manual for my E36, 97 BMW 316i Compact, I only want one for D.I.Y. servicing, brakes and problem solving and the like, I know this won't cover all body work being a different shape but will it work for whats under the bonnet as its the same engine?

Look on fleabay for haynes manuals, lets face it, we don't use them to strip gearboxes down, just for brakes and the stuff you mention

Top result on ebay is £10 BIN

Many parts may be common but others are not.
Brake part numbers are different between compact and saloon for example.

You'll probably find realoem indispensible if your doing DIY maintenantce on your BMW.
